NOTD: Read my nails

Hey bloggers! I decided to do a newspaper themed post today. Newspapers are great and keep you informed with what is going on in the world. I also think newspapers look great as clothing. As you can see in the pictures above.

However today I wanted to try out the newspaper print nails. I think they turned out pretty well.

Has anyone ever printed newspaper onto their nails?

Neutral brown eye make-up

Hey, Hola, Oi, Ola bloggers,

Today I treated myself to a brand new camera because I really needed a camera that could capture the finer details and not take blurred pictures of my nails, make-up and etc.

In this post, I will be showing you my eye make-up I wore today. Lately I have toned down my make-up and stopped wearing bright eye shadows on my eyes. I suppose it is because I do not feel confident in myself to wear bright, beautiful colours. So I am trying out more neutral colours and I think it looks great on me. I think neutral colours can look great on everyone. You can always pair neutral eyes with a bright colour lipstick.

Eye Make-up of the Day

What colour eye shadow are you wearing on your eyes today?
Do you wear any make-up at all?

NOTD Coral Pink

Hey bloggers, I did a boots haul in June on 3 nail polishes that I brought. I did not show you how they looked on my nails. However in this post, I will show you the coral pink on my nails. It turned out great. The nail polish came out bright but the colour does not show up well on pictures.  I cannot wait to see how the other two colours turn out. View the boots haul post here. Scroll below to see the coral pink polish on my nails.

Review: Nailene French 2 go base colour

Nailene french 2 go base colour for the perfect french manicure. Simple click the top of the pen and your ready to paint away.
This product comes as a pen with a soft brush to paint the tips of your nails with a few simple clicks at the top of the pen. This product did not come with any instructions what so ever but it simple described the pen as "easy to use", "dries fast" and "travel friendly".

It certainly is easy to use and does dry quickly but I would not recommend this to anyone as the polish comes out too thick on the brush after a few clicks. I believe this is way too much for the tips of your nails, especially if you have short nails like myself . Also after using it, the brush becomes very sticky. I think next time I will stick to the old fashioned way of giving my nails a french manicure because I was not happy with the result.

I would rate this product 2/5.

Pros:
  • Easy to carry around when travelling.
  • Dries quickly

Cons:

  • Sometimes too much polish came out onto the brush so the polish was not even on all nails.
  • The tips of my nails had streaks.
  • Very sticky.
